Back again after 22 years!

Hello all! I've been reading this forum for a little while. I wanted to make sure I read a good portion of the tech stuff and stickies so I don't start off asking the same old questions that have already been answered. I also wanted to be a proud GZ250 owner before actually joining.

I got all the inspection and licensing work done two days ago on my new (to me) black 2006 with 949 miles. I've only been for a couple of spins around the block on a buddies bike since I gave up my KZ440 when I was 17. Let me just say, "WOO HOO!" This little bike is a blast. Thank you all for helping me decide that the GZ was the right choice. I was worried about commuting, because I have to hit about a 2 mile stretch of interstate to get to work. That's the problem with a metro area at the confluence of two rivers. The highway bridges are the only options. It does fine, even though I need to lose a few pounds. It sure does scream at highway speeds, though. I feel bad about pulling in the clutch lever when I hit the exit ramp. From one extreme to the other. 70MPH kind of tickles.

Thanks to all of you on this forum. I have to give a nod to the folks on the Rebel forum, too. Their love for their little 250s sparked my interest in riding again and led me to this site.

What a novel idea. Maybe it will catch on!

Thank you. I appreciate it, even if nobody else does !!

I'll be down your way in a couple of weeks.......going to the races in Madison and to see the Cards beat up on the Braves (again!). Won't be on the bike though.

Cards? Braves? I don't know if I would admit to wanting to see either one this year. I love our new stadium, though. Have fun.

Sad but true.
I can't figure the mentality that trades away a WHOLE team in the space of a couple of years.
Almost enough to make me a Cub fan........almost!

Go Cards

Cards aren't out of it by a long shot. Cubs history suggests they could fold at any time, and there is always the wildcard. Doesn't matter how you get in the playoffs, once there it is a brand new season.

Cardinals record is better that a lot of the division leaders. It just the Cubs and Brewers are playing out of their minds this year.
