Riding in flood water!

My street had about a foot and a half of water over it at its deepest point. I had to get to work and the gz is my only way. I had to lift my feet up so I wouldn't fill my shoes with water. Water was almost up to my passenger pegs I was a little worried it would get into the air intake or the electrical system. but I made it through. I tested my brakes afterwards and everything was good.

Ironically enough my wifes car (2001 Chevy Malibu) sucked water into the air intake located at the bottom of the car :??: and soaked the air filter.

Who knew my bike can go through deeper water that the car
