Clutch Shaft Seal

I've got an oil leak that looks like it's coming from the clutch shaft seal. Has anyone replaced the seal? Can I pry it up and replace it with the shaft in place?

Re: Clutch Shaft Seal

Looking in the manual p. 3-22 it seems you can do it. I would undo the cable at the handle,to get all tension off the cable, to remove the arm from the clutch cam shaft.

Re: Clutch Shaft Seal

I replaced mine, it took me about 5 minutes, and no you don't need to remove the shaft, the seal just goes down over it.
