Welp, sold my GZ last night

S'funny, on Sunday I was thinking the GZ was feeling neglected, so I took it out for a nice 70 mile ride through the hills and canyons past good ol' Cook's Corner on down to Laguna Beach and came back up Pacific Coast Highway. Didn't know it would pretty much be my last ride. It was sad to watch it head off down the street, but the new owner seemed very pleased. So I'm back down to a one-bike garage. That's a good thing. I think.

Now that you an OC Hoosier are done, I feel like it's time for me to get going. I just can't get motivated to deal with the public.

The public's not that motivated either. I've had mine on Craigslist for months. My registration was due next month ($93! Sheesh) so I finally just decided to take the next offer that was anything like reasonable. Oh well. A young guy bought it for his mom (who's been wanting a bike for a long time) as a first street bike. It was the perfect size for her, and she seemed very excited, so that made me feel better about it.

Re: Welp, sold my GZ last night

I really haven't been putting a lot of miles on my GeeZer here lately either, and have been keeping it on the battery tender most of the time. She makes a great second bike.

If a rider pal comes over without a bike, we use it as a backup ride. I've put as many as 200 miles on mine in a day and that's more than enough for a GeeZer.

My Street Glide is my main bike and I've done 500+ miles in a day on it and that too, is enough. I find myself driving the car only in inclement weather.

She's my GZ, and I think I'll keep her. :puke:

Yeah, I got to get mine on the tender. (Still sitting in the plastic packaging from Amazon.)
