Re: Grip parts?

They can be bought from e-bay much cheaper than the dealer.

The Suzuki parts catalog calls it "BALANCER SET, HANDLEBAR".
Oddly enough, you can get all the other little parts for the "set" seperately but not the actual weight. To get it, you have to order the whole "set" at an MSRP of $29.55.

I'd think that individuals selling it would probably call it a "bar end weight".

Installing it is not as simple as you might think; at the very least, you would also need the long screw.....if you can fish the rest of the parts out of the bars.

Re: Grip parts?

Or just buy aftermarket bar ends on the cheap and install them.

Re: Grip parts?

Be careful when installing the new bar ends-- if the nut inside falls off the bolt it will likely get stuck inside the bar.

I put aftermarket grips on mine.I didn't find any difference in vibration and just as inexpencive as replacing the useless bar ends.

Re: Grip parts?

When I lost the mounting stuff down in the handlebars I was able to retrieve them by removing the opposite bar end, leaning the bike over the other way and blowing it out with compressed air, might not always work but worth a try.
