New rider, First Bike, San Francisco Area
Hi Everyone,
I'm Bon Chaton. You can call me Bon. ("Bon Chaton" is french for Good Kitten. Ya. I live near San Francisco. I am a complete freak. You can't even imagine.) I took the motorcycle safety course about 3 months ago. (Not a total newb. I rode motorcycles a lot when I was very young. Around 10 - 13 years old. The bikes belong to my friend's family, and when they moved away, so did the bikes.) A month ago, I bought a 2006 GZ250 with 14,000 miles on it for $1200. I work on my own cars a lot and have already started walking my way through all the general maintenance. (I also own a 1979 Alfa Romeo Spider, a 1992 Jeep Wrangler, and a 2004 Scion XA.) Having lots of fun with it. Hope to contribute to the forums all I can. I was excited to find this website and it has been a huge help so far. Anyway ... Hi everybody! - Bon Chaton

Welcome Kitten. Got down to SF about 10 years ago. The Golden Gate bridge was on my bucket list as well as Lombard Street. Mission accomplished.
