How are you handling the unusually cold weather? The news here is painting a very sad picture of many parts of Europe with deaths mounting every day due to freezing and inadequate shelter.

Re: New GZ250 Rider in Portlaoise, Ireland

Welcome to the forum. My wife bought me this bike for my 40th surprise birthday party. I couldnt believe she did it, this was last May and shes still never rode on the back with me yet. Only because i dont feel ready for a passenger, im a newbie at riding with just around 1300+ miles under my belt.

Sisters yup she has 5, but only three are single. A total of 12 in her family. Come on over for the match making fair.

Cold here in Ireland? I never noticed. Compared with Boston I don't normally don winter coats.

Re: New GZ250 Rider in Portlaoise, Ireland

Welcome from Florida. I'm a cranky old Irish Police Chief, last name's O'Rourke and that's Irish enough :2tup: . Sounds like you've had plenty of riding experience - now get the book, take the classes and learn to do it right  . I'd love to take my bike to Cork and Limerick, spend a month cruising the country lanes. A good black beer or a bottle of Jameson would suit me fine at the end of a long day in the saddle. oooh, an Irish red head with her freckles and her temper  - you're a brave man!
Ride safe.

If you're still around, I may pay a visit to your direction of the country in the new year (pending approval, but once I give enough notice in triplicate I should be ok )
